Josephine spent her early years as a journalist at a local based bilingual newspaper, The Myanmar Times. As a freelance journalist, she writes for Burma Associated Press, a local-led news agency that emerged within the spring revolutionary period of Myanmar. She has written on environmental issues that are intertwined with politics, social science, human behaviours, culture, economy, heritage, and labour—and from a social science perspective.
