Makepeace Sitlhou is an independent journalist and video producer based in India. Her work is focused on rights, governance, social justice, politics and identity, with a significant part of it in India’s Northeast region. She has also reported from Australia, Taiwan, and most recently, the United States, where she was a Fulbright fellow at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, Arizona State University. Her work has appeared on major International news platforms like Al Jazeera, Vice, BBC, CNN, The Daily Beast, and others.
