Shwe Paw Mya Tin

Shwe Paw Mya Tin is a freelance multimedia journalist focusing on covering social, political, breaking news, and human rights issues. She regularly works for local, and international publications, INGOs, and NGOs. She started her journalism career in 2017 as a multimedia journalist. In 2019, she joined NurPhoto Agency, Italy-based photo agency as a contributor. She joined Reuters in 2020 as a stringer photographer. She is an alumnus of National Geographic Myanmar Photo Camp, National Geographic Global Photo Camp, and Foundry Photojournalism Workshop. Her works were exhibited in Bangkok, Japan and at WARM Festival in Sarajevo. She is currently based in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
